Decomission of GALERA cluster at TASK and enable access to TRYTON via UNICORE

With end of October 2017, Galera cluster at TASK is beeing decomissioned. As of now, all of PLGrid users may use Tryton cluster instead.

UNICORE users should now see entry TASK-TRYTON in UNICORE registry which allows seemless access to TASK site. Site TASK-GALERAPLUS is no longer available and all UNICORE services allowing access to Galera cluster have been disabled.

UNICORE site TASK-TRYTON has been deployed with version 7.8.0, latest release of UNICORE at the moment. Batch system is now based on Slurm and is fully configured with Unity IDM as an attributes source. Also, as of now, site is available in UNICORE Portal.

Any feedback will be appreciated, so feel free to contact as via PLGrid portal.

UNICORE Portal updated to v2.3.0

UNICORE Portal updated to version 2.3.0

UNICORE Portal has been udpated to version 2.3.0 for PLGrid and ICM users. Like usual change log may be read here. Besides new features of Data Manager module, this version has been updated with latest Vaadin framework and UNICORE libraries. From now on UNICORE Portal also supports user defined IDBs.

Oxides Grid Portal updated to version 1.3.3

Oxides Grid Portal has been just updated to version 1.3.3 at PLGrid. It fixes welcome page, which no longer uses Google APIs for reading feeds (it is not supported anymore).

The release contains also Spring Boot framework update to version 1.5.1.RELEASE. Parsing feeds is now moved to backend, so browser will get pure JSON now.

UNICORE components at TASK updated to v7.7.0

UNICORE components updated to v7.7.0 at TASK (PLGrid)

UNICORE components at TASK site have been updated to latest version 7.7.0 in PLGrid. Along with the update, site has been switched from deprecated UVOS attributes source into Unity IDM attributes source - current central compoment responsible for passing user data needed by UNICORE security model.

Like usual, everything should work like before, so it is transparent for the users (despite the downtime which occurred during the update).

UNICORE Portal has been udpated to version 2.2.1 for PLGrid and ICM users. Like usual change log may be read here. The version has been updated to latest Vaadin framework and allows for customization of welcome image.

PLGrid updated UNICORE Portal to v2.2.0

Starting from now, PLGrid and ICM users are using latest version 2.2.0 of UNICORE Portal. Change log may be read here. Users may also finally forget about /portal context path at the end of URL address. Now, it is enough just to put unicore-portal.grid.icm.edu.pl in the browser.
